Reforest Northern Kentucky Tree Planting

  • Reforest Northern Kentucky River Road Fort Thomas, KY, 41075 United States (map)

Join us as we plant 150 hardwood trees and begin to create a forest!

Reforest Northern Kentucky is an annual, all-volunteer project organized by Northern Kentucky Urban Community Forestry Council (NKUCFC) to restore native Kentucky woodlands. The reforestation project is responsible for planting thousands of tree seedlings on public, protected, and previously-mowed properties in Boone, Campbell, and Kenton Counties.

Reforest NKY is an opportunity for public education and awareness about the importance of trees in our unique region. By planting trees, our forest landscape and legacy is restored.

Trees and forests provide significant, measurable benefits to our communities by improving the environment, economy, and ultimately our quality of life.

This tree planting event is a collaboration between Fort Thomas Forest Conservancy and the NKU Urban and Community Forestry Council.
